Is windows 7 really better then XP in your opinion?

That would depends on your computer hardware my friend. XP flat form bugs is already fixed while windows 7 is still new and there are lot of bugs needs to be fixed also it will be unstable for your computer if you have a lower pc components windows 7 works best if you have all those latest parts that supported and recommended.

I have been using windows 7 since it has been launched in my country and i am very happy using it. It has got lots of aero dynamic features. its quite interesting working on it. XP is very old now. I don't think that i single person whom I know uses XP now. So better upgrade your system with windows 7.

Presently I am using window vista. But I have used window xp and window 7 also. Everybody knows that window xp is friendly user. as i observed that depend upon person to person that which says this is a good operating system. according to me window xp is really better except it doesn't have extra feature. thanks for mylotting.

Hiya apples, At the moment I am sitting pretty with Windows Xp with no plans yet to upgrade anything. This system I have got is way out of whack and I don´t want to break my Head with another system just yet at least. When I feel ready it will be changed but again no use rushing for me (grin).

I would go to windows xp if its compatibility that we're talking but if not then go for windows 7.. its a very good OS though it sucks when you need to run a program using run as administrator xD

yes windows 7 is infinite times better than windows xp. the user interface is awesome, especially the glass effect, and the themes, changing wallpapers, sounds, every thing is very good. why are u still using xp?? try win 7. you will like it really well.

I have a dual system XP & Vista on my old PC(2003)with 2g ram graphic 512mb, do the job. Can we add 7?

I was a huge XP fan but now that I'm used to Windows 7..I like it too. I find it very easy to use.

When windows 7 first came out I heard some bad comments on it so I shied away from it. Now after using it on a friends computer I find no fault in it. I currently use windows xp and I think I will continue to use xp until the masses all change over to windows 7. I like to stay with what I know best until I have to change. Eventually the software will be geared more towards windows 7 than xp and I will have to update; but until then I will stay with xp.

Windows 7 is much more updated than xp,it has many inbult features like a nice firewall and it also doesn't require any additional drivers to be installed by the user manually.Windows 7 designed in such a way that navigation through the windows is lot more easier.

yes windows 7 is really better than xp.in win7 the net performance too speed than xp do you know about windows 7 history.vista is discovered in 2007 and it is not become successful and microsoft try over come and atlast found this successfully thats they named it "windows 7" here 7 means 2007 year of the vista launched.

It has many more features. Besides Support to XP with SP2 is stopped by Microsoft. WINDOWS 7 is definitely better than VISTA

Win7 is way much better than XP. Be it on gaming side, Looks side and usability aspects of using the computer.

For me personally Windows 7 is just another Windows update and well I have long since left the Windows arena when they launched Vista I was like wow should just get a Mac and call it Vista I have moved on to better things that don't involve Windows or Apples with a bite in it. But I guess if you are a Windows user then Windows 7 must likely has some new features that where missing in XP and Vista to get people to pay $$$ for it. I don't pay for my operating system anymore and now I don't understand why I ever did or why any one else would. So yeah it has it improvements just as ever Mac OS X and Windows release has some kool new feature or improvement that the last ones didn't

Windows 7 is way better the XP. I got windows 7 and I love it. Its pretty fast. The graphics are really good. The quality in general is great. Take care. Happy mylotting.

i think it depends on the spesicifaction of your Computer, if your Computer has a good spesification go ahead use windows 7 but if not better you use windows xp
