Hi sonaimajumdar, You are absolutely right when you say chicken is one of most eaten non vegetarian dish in the world, This is a very tasty bird but unfortunately my mom is pure vegetarian who comes from a family to 100% vegetarians where not even egg is eaten so i have to eat out when ever i am in mood of chicken and my favourite chicken dishes are 1. Roasted Chicken 2. Butter Chicken 3. Chicken Tikka 4. Biryani 5. Chicken soup.

I prefer chicken over red meat..Previously I was very fond of chilly chicken but a few days back I learned to prepare a new chicken dish called Chicken Manchurian...It was really delicious.. The recipe goes like this... The Ingredients are as follows: • 4 Chicken Thighs (chopped) • 1 tsp Soya Sauce • 1 small Onion (finely chopped) • 2 tbsp Corn Flour • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour • 8 Garlic Pods (finely chopped) • 8 Green Chillies (finely chopped) • 4 tsp Refined Oil • Salt to taste • 1 tsp Tomato Ketchup (optional) You can prepare the dish in this way: • Smear salt and marinate chicken for an hour. • Make a batter of all purpose flour and cornflour in a bowl. Soak the chicken pieces into it. • Deep fry the chicken pieces and keep them aside. • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, onion and green chillies and fry till brown and crispy. • Now add chilli powder, salt to taste, deep-fried chicken pieces, tomato ketchup and Soya sauce. • Cook at high flame (may be for 7-8 minutes) till the chicken turns soft and absorbs ketchup and Soya sauce. • Add water while stirring, if necessary. • Chicken Manchurian is ready to be served. You can check it out yourself.

Roasted chicken or fried chicken is a winner... I know it's yummy... Just thinking about it now makes me feel hungry. Aside from chicken meat, I think lamb and cow's been are also great.
