This world cup is already determined by the numbers....
Brazil won the World Cup in 1994 before that they also won in 1970.Adding1970 + 1994= 3964
Argentina won its last World Cup in 1986; before that they also won in 1978. Adding 1978 + 1986= 3964
Germany won its last World Cup in 1990; before that they also won in 1974. Adding 1974 + 1990= 3964
Brazil also won the World Cup in 2002; before that they also won in 1962. Adding 1962+ 2002= 3964
Therefore if you want to know what nation is going to win the World Cup in 2010,you only have to subtract 2010 from the magic number that is determined 3964.
3964 minus 2010 = 1954
"In 1954 the World Cup was won by Germany!! "

First I should say I'm not a soccer fan and know little about FIFA World Cup. After reading your article I looked up some data, your calculation is really great, we can see the champion of the match is symmetric in both side of year 1982. That's really mysterious.
But the symmetry was broken by France and Italy in 1998 and 2006 respectively, the "3964 law" has been obeyed four times but only been violated twice. So I predict the possibility that Germany win this match is more than 66%.

No I dont believe in this stuff . This is a just confidence. The octopus say the winnner of the mathc will be Spain . Which to believe ? I think thath this is stupid , how to predict the octopus matches , as have the brains, you know what you think. The Spain show a good game and Germany too . The two teams have a big chance is this match , but who will be the winnar in this large fight.

Hi crazy yeah even I have come across such calculations and permutations that have been floated by the numerologists.However there were scientists who predicted before the world cup that this time it's Brazil who will lift the trophy and their prophecy turned to be wrong.Personally I don't believe in such wild guesses and tonight I am hoping that Spain wins the game against the Germans and put such irrational logic to the back burner.Football is played on the field among 22 players and though luck plays a role in any game yet such wild guesses are totally uncalled for.

Great mathematical deduction. Heard about it. Heard about the astrologers' prediction as well. But I just can't believe in it. If Germany should win that's because they have been playing very well consistently. But from now on it's everybody's game. The best team wins!
