It's no doubt that Germany are strong team before they met Spain in semi final of world cup 2010. Germany beat England by score 4-1 in big sixteen round and beat the most favorite team, Argentina by score 4-0 in quarter final. That was amazing! It was so different if we compare with performance of Spain. Spain beat Portugal in big sixteen round by score 1-0 and beat Paraguay in quarter final by score 1-0 only.
Germany was advantage but only sacred octopus said others. It show the winner would be Spain and all we have seen the match. Spain beat Germany by score 1-0. The octopus really proof it! Often myth should be considered by who bet in soccer since the ball is around. Everything could happen ignored mathematically calculation. What do you think?

Saw that picture of the octopus. Heard lots of astrologer's predictions. Heard about the mathematical calculation. Right from the start seemed like the game had gone beyond any reasoning. I believe that little spark from Euro 2008 could have reignited the determination of Spain to bring home South Africa 2010. Best wishes to Spain!

Well, tomi. We have different opinion about the winner of the world cup 2010. I choose Netherlands as the winner. They shown good and consistent performance. They the only one team that unbeaten from the elimination round till semi final. Their ability to out from pressure have they shown when met Brazil. They always show to us offensive playing. I think they will beat Spain in Final. Go Netherlands!

Hey o0jopak0o, still I can't believe to the scared octopus even if it has proof the result was true for many times. I don't care what team will be chosen by the octopus for the next match between Spain and Netherlands. I choose Netherlands as the winner based on their performance from the elimination until semifinal. They have shown the great game. My option came from my heart and not follow the sacred octopus even though it will choose the opposite. Go Netherlands!

Sorry I had also predicted Spain to beat Germany. I had predicted this match would be a Pass Vs. Pace game and as it turned out that was exactly what it turned out to be. Spain passed the life out of Germany and then hit them with the sucker punch at a vital moment to win the game.
Now we will have a new holder of the world cup as neither Spain nor Holland have won any till date.

That's OK ram. I choose Netherlands as the winner but Spain won the Final. We have to wait 117 minutes to have the winner. That was great game. Spain have high determination and Netherlands have good depending until John Heitinga sent out after received the second yellow card.

The octopus happens to be a good fortune teller. It just happens. But the victories should all be credited to the team itself. The desire to win it is the best solution to achieve victory.

You are right. After all, spirit to win and team work are two things that should be keep to reach the win. Spain and Netherlands has show it. Unfortunately, there must be one winner for the final match and it was Spain. Spain played better with high determination and Ineasta goal in extra time bring the Cup to Spain. Congratulation to Spain!

Yeah, it's amazing but still I can't believed it. In final, I will pick up Netherlands as the winner whatever will be chosen by the octopus. I think Netherlands team is better than Spain. They have shown the perfect matches by win all the matches from elimination till semifinal with beautiful games. I hope in the next game between Netherlands and Spain, I will beat the octopus

Germany has the results, but Spain is clearly the superior team. Their passing game is fantastic! Spain will beat Germany 2-1 in the final(David Villa, Iniesta - Schweinsteiger). Paul the octopus is right!

What are you talking about? Germany has been beaten by Spain in Semi Final by score 1-0. Spain will meet Netherlands in Final. Netherlands beat Uruguay in Semifinal by score 3-2. It was great match! Whatever the team will be chosen by the octopus, I still believe my heart that Netherlands is better than Spain and they will win the World Cup for the first time. It's time to remove the curse! Go Netherlands!
