This includes marriage between man/man and woman/woman. Countries that support it are: Belgium Canada Netherlands Norway South Africa Spain Sweden And the only states currently allowing it in the U.S. are Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Iowa. --- I personally think that we should continue to progress towards equality. There is supposed to be a separation of church & state. The argument that God doesn't allow it should not apply in this day and age. What does MyLot think?

Yeah I agree with you. I'm not gay or anything, I don't have any hassles with gay marriage. Australia is looking at accepting gay marriage in Tasmania. And to my knowledge United Kingdom has gay marriage eg elton john's gay marriage.

Well nature always wants that marriage should be between man and woman so that they can reproduce naturally. But since gay people are also made by god they should have the freedom to live a life of their choice. If gay people want to marry they should be allowed to do that . Today many countries have understood this and legalised gay marriage which i think is a good step. If church doesn't considers gay marriage right then why god made gay people.

I'm not gay though, but I agree. Everybody should be able to choose to marry whomever they want to. But we should still consider, why do they want to get married in the first place? Isn't lifetime partnership enough for them? I mean, a lot of sorry for the term, straight couples today live together for years and they don't want to get married. Maybe it's the thought of sharing a matrimonial bond with their partners, I don't know. But for me, lifetime partnership is enough regardless of the gender. What's important is they care for, love and respect one another.
