Police Corruption

I absolutely hate most of the police department here where I live. They flaunt their police badges, speed by you acting like they're heading somewhere important and really aren't headed nowhere. They are nosy, discriminatory b@st@rds that need to be chin checked. Police aren't like this everywhere. Just in places like this. I've seen a police car speeding by... putting everyone who's driving around them in danger... just to flick their emergency lights off and turn into Wal-mart's parking lot. They park in pedestrian and emergency loading lanes at their convenience... even in their civilian cars. They really disgusted me this past 4th of July weekend. They were out to get everyone. What I don't understand is... why is some of their compensation based off of ticketing people?? Furthermore, why are they busy harrassing us and doing unnecessary things rather than solving the crimes and murders that are growing in this area?? There are so many unsolved, cold cases and so many people that have killed CHILDREN around here that have been released due to insufficient evidence. I feel like they should put their time towards more important things...

I hate the police department everywhere. There is corruption and abuse of authority everywhere. There's entire websites and youtube channels dedicated solely to this kind of thing. It's bs that it happens that often. All they truly care about is their quota. It's the end of the month and guess what that means....yup red and blue lights everywhere. They do nothing all month and then just give a whole bunch of tickets randomly. The whole system needs to be changed if you ask me.

I think that the whole system needs to be changed, too. There is no form of checks and balances when it comes to police... so a lot of their corruption goes overlooked or unnoticed. But, with the volume of jakes getting killed every year on the RISE, I'm sure they'll calm down soon... whether they really want to or not..

I have a nephew who is a deputy and we're also related to the Sheriff of this little town. I do hate it when any of them blow through town with their lights and sirens blaring...and wind up at the pizza place or something. I don't know about every jurisdiction out there but I do know that there are no ticket quotas here and no one pay is based on the number of citations they write.

You know what?? That is great. I wish it were like that here.. they sit around here like vultures waiting on their kill... even the local state troopers. Where is the justice?? You are blessed to live in a place where the police actually care about the people and don't have the community hating them or running in fear of them.
