Paul, the 'psychic' octopus predicts Spanish win !!

Well when the World Cup started and a discussion on here asked who we thought would win I said Spain!! Now I see that Paul, the German 'psychic' octopus who's predictions about Germany have so far been correct no predicts a Spanish win!! But all you Spanish fans don't get TOO excited because during the Euro 2008 he wrongly picked Germany as to win against Spain !! What is your opinion on 'Paul' and the match itself?

Scientist has estimated that Paul takes fancy to the colors are fresh and abundant. Because Germany national flag is colorfuly, he always choose Germany. HAHA. But I don't know whether it is true.

Paul has become the biggest celebrity to come out of South Africa 2010. Now he has a competitor in Mani the Parakreet who seems to have predicted all the results of the quarter finals correctly. Paul's core strength seems to be matches involving Germany and this is the first match in which he is selecting for a match not involving Germany. But on the other hand Mani seems to be more knowledgeable about all teams thus picking correctly all matches for the quarters. And guess what for the finals Paul has picked Spain while Mani has picked Holland. So it is going to be Spain Vs. Holland, Villa Vs. Sneijder, Paul Vs. Mani, Octopus Vs. Parakreet!! So many subplots for the biggest soccer game of the year!! Cheers! Ram

Ho Oldchem, I don't know what Paul thinks but I think Spain will win myself although I don't mind which of the two out of Holland and Spain as of Dutch descent and mum lives in Spain lol. Huggles. Ellie :D

well this is one the reasons why i watched the world cup now. Im not really a fan of football but because of some news about some octopus prediction i was interested to watch it.

Well Pauls predictions are right.but Not everytime. Lets see what he predicts about the Worldcup finals 2010. Myfavourite team is Sapin.

Well it's fantastic the Paul was right about all the results here at the World Cup. In my opinion he is right about the final too, because Spain will win it's first world title, beating Holland 2-1. :)
