Hello mylotters, I am a college student and seeing so many music bands performing in my college during techfest, i thought of starting my own music band and want to perform in my college during the next techfest. I have learnt to play guitar and have some knowledge about music also. And now, these days i am searching members for my music band. What about you? Do you wanna be a part of any music band?

that has always been one of my frustrations. i've always dreamed of being in a band. lately, i have been so into music. i've been teaching myself to play the guitar and the drums. i've also purchased a keyboard recently. my mom has been joking about me being a one-woman band. i wish my friends have the same hobby as i do. then we could all jam together, instead of doing nothing when we hang out.

ya that could be the best work to do during hang out. All the very best for your upcoming band. I am damn sure in future your band will be giving a tough competition to our band.

I actually was a part of a band in college. Not a great band by any means - it was a total garage band - serious, because we practiced in the garage - ha ha. My boyfriend (drummer) and his friend (guitarist) started a band, with the friend's cousin being a bassist, and another friend's cousin being the singer. They needed a keyboardist, so they dragged me in as I could play the piano - and I was the only female band member. We played some cover songs - not much - and none of the music was my choice . . . I just played the keyboard was all. So there was this variety show for one of the cultural clubs at our college, and we ended up having a "gig" there. That was because the guitarist had a girlfriend in the club. I ended up singing a small bit (unexpectedly) - and the bassist's string broke - and other crazy things happened that I wanted to hide my head under a bag! Anyway, after that gig, we all just kind of gave it up. But good - ha ha.
