Birthday Celebration Tomorrow

Well, I am new here in my present location. Tomorrow will be my special day in life. Another years added to my age but still my mind seems still like a teenager. LOL. Last day my birthday acknowledge by our Hotel and all staff celebrated it with a small party includes cake slicing and drinking non-alcoholic drink because alcohol here is not allowed. Our General Manager and Human Resource Manager hand over to me a gift. I am happy with it because seems our company valued all associates special day.
My co-associates now always greet me a Happy Birthday everytime we meet in different areas within the Hotel Compound. It's new to me like this, unlike my previous company they don't mind associates special day.
2 years ago during my birthday I was very sad because of mom's death, that day my mom's coffin was there in our house. No one think my birthday because that was a time for sadness.
I miss my family in our country because everytime I celebrated my natal day they are always around and celebrated with me. There's no food preparation like we did with the family. Don't have time here to prepare. Although I have this new life but still I am happy because my life is added another years that full of challenging situations.
New country, new family, new people and new life. Even this is the situation I have now but still my special day should be celebrated even only my fellow associates are present.

co-workers are honoring your birthday, thats really great and
to be gifted thats also nice. it is sad that you lost you mom
around your birthday like that as it makes it seem even more tragic
and of course then noone was thinking of your birthday. But
I am glad you are happy now with all the new things in your life.

as I mention to some of my post, first ever I experience like this that a company valued the specially day of their associates. I will not forget this experience with my recent family. It's really different family I belong now. They are kind although not all but most of them.

you are right it's really nice to know if you are very much welcome by your new family. We are very know hospitable hotel, which is hospitable is our most assets. Guest always returned back to our facility.

Hi julyteen! Yes, I'm a newbie. I signed up last month and I can only spend up to 2 hours a day on the internet due to heavy loads of assignments in school. Those factors explain my low rating. Hehe... Thank you for accepting my late greeting, though I still have to deduct a point from myself for being late. Haha! It's great to know that you were happy on your birthday. i know how it feels to be away from your loved ones on special occasions like this. but i am glad to hear that you are enjoying yours this time, far away from your family, especially your wife.

Well, we still have a close communication lately so no problem for it. I used to communicate through mobile calls and sending text messages.
I used my signature as username to most of my program. When you analyze exactly what julyteen means it close to JULY 10. Hehehe.

Sorry to hear that you lost your mom on a special day. It feels very sad when your dearest ones not present with you for special celebrations.
The companies often neglects employees birthdays. It will be very happy moments when the company fellows and co-associates greets.

This is the first company I am working that acknowledge all birthdays to their associates. All managers are their to clapped their hands when I was standing infront of them received my gift.
Yes it's very difficult to imagine when you special and love most mom passed away during your special day, supposed to be you will be happy at that time.

yeah it's not easy to be away from our family but we have no choice except to accept the reality that if we want a better life we should do our best even we felt difficult in realizing some of your dreams. It's your big day today my dear friend. I greeted you in advanced yesterday for I thought I wouldn't be here today but change of plans. LOL. Anyway, though you're away from your family, you can still enjoy your birthday. There's the internet remember? I'm sure they will contact you. Well, last April, I celebrated my birthday as simple as it can be. My dad gave me money so I surprised my kids by going to the mall, I let them play in the arcade and after that we ate together. Then a friend
sent me a birthday cake, my favorite black forest. As simple as it can be but it really feels good. At least for one day, I forgot what I've been going through. Enjoy your day dear.
PS: Sassy and I already gave you your birthday gift, so we are now waiting for the burger and iced tea...

Happy birthday my dear friend Hulyo, I wish you all the best especially in your good health. For me, as time grows older together with my age, I never consider any preparation (food) would be necessary. Health is wealth is the best for me. There's nothing would be greatest gift for me in any of my natal day except good health.
Well, food preparation would just be an additional highlights on that day but not a necessity. (if you would just have enough budget on it...)
Another thing my friend, just a point to remember.
On our birthdays, number of birthdays does not count much but it is the H A P P Y that matters most...
We must try to be happy on that day not of thinking how many birthdays that passed already in our lives...

I wish you a happy birthday on your special day tomorrow. You share a birthday with my teen son. When my birthday comes around, I try to treat it like any other day. I know there will be some friend or family member who has another idea for me. I don't know that i am happy with a birthday, but you can't stop it from coming. Hi july teen: I was really happy with my birthday. That was last March. Evenb if I didn't received many gifts I enjoy it a lot. People around me has remebered this date and they have talked t5o me and congratulate me, even people from different parts have left me a message on Facebook.
