I've been at Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Because, I wanted to experience the beautiful creation of God there and the pride of Philippines, the underground river. but, I never heard lagoon.

I am from Palawan and it is truly the last frontier of the Philippines . Flora and fauna dominate mountains and jungles while oceans, rivers and all bodies of water are healthy- healthy in a sense that they are not yet polluted. Look at the underground river, its ecosystem is one of the best in the world. The lagoon however is in El Nido and though it's far, it's very beautiful. Palawan is a paradise. It should be included in your next vacation. Oh, if you want to see my blog about South East Asia with beautiful pics particularly Palawan, check out my profile.

There are so many places to see in Palawan. We were there last year and the place is really breath taking. There are so many things to do there. We tried fire fly watching in Iwahig, visited the penal farm in Iwahig as well. This is the largest penal institution in our country with no wails. The prisoners can roam freely and do work on the fields as their punishment. We went snorkeling at Honda Bay, had a mangrove paddle tour just near the port where you usually go on your way to the Underground River. The limestone mountains are a great sight to see too. I really want to go to Palawan and explore Coron and El Nido. Geez! I can't get enough of Palawan!

Haven't been there yet. But it's on my top list on places I have to visit in the Philippines. I need a big budget to go there because 3 days there won't be enough to explore it. Maybe atleast 5 days to a week.
