Favorite Inkpen

Do you have a favorite inkpen that you write with or one that you prefer over another?? My grandmother works at a doctor's office and they give her lots of pens and I absolutely LOVE doctor's pens. They write so smoothly and last a very long time. I like the ones that have advertise prescriptions. Also, a fresh white bic pen is a sharp writer, too. I don't really like gel pens because they smear easily. But, I do like writing with sharpie pens too. What are your favorite pens to write with?? Nowadays I type more than I write.

I prefer an ink pen over ball pens because it gives you good handwriting.

Handwriting is weird and most people think that it shows intelligence and character, which it does. My mom has a sort of sloppy-like handwriting that she taught me... which as I got older and practiced until it changed. So it is possible for handwriting to change... a good pen helps, too, though. I prefer a broad pen. I have had joint replacement in my hands (twice) and the fat pen works better.

I imagine that that must've been quite painful for you and that the broader pens work a lot better in that case. I tend to like fat pens, too. I know a few people with arthritis and it is NOT pleasant! Thanks for commenting!!

I don't have just one pen that is my all time favorite. However, there is a certain style of pen I prefer Doctor's pens are larger and that's what I need. Since I broke my finger they are much easier to use. If I can't have a large one it just has to glide just right on the paper with little resistance. I have two different types that I buy like that.

Currently I have in my pocket a Pilot pen which I started using in 2005. It is very reliable and have not failed me ever since. I do a lot of signing-off of paperwork, and I use it all the time. I also do a lot of travelling, and if anyone looks at my travel bag, they would see a lot of hotel pens in there. For some reason, I keep getting them from the room and stuffing them in my bag.

Gosh, technology thinks it improves, but they remain the same. There is practically a significant difference between the pen types. I used a ink pen once, and I hated it. It is sort of like a marker, but not really. The script looked really nice, but I didn't like it overall. Seriously, technology these days suck.
