To set a good example to Filipino people, President NoyNoy Aquino is following the traffic rule of NO WANG WANG USE even if it will mean danger on his security. He finds waking up early as the solution to not using sirens for fast travel time. Setting good example to Filipino people is his priority. His security personnel urges him to avail the presidential privilege of using sirens to avoid interrupted road travel, but he insists NO. But with this, he is most likely to be stuck in traffic and face the danger of being ambushed and assassinated. He should realize that he is no ordinary person but the head of the nation and many will attempt on his life. The question is: DO YOU AGREE ON HIS "NO WANG WANG POLICY" ?

There has been a lot of discussions like this here on mylot. First of, Wang Wang or sirens are government's officials' privilege in order for them to arrive in their sessions, meetings, or in their office on time. The problem with this privilege is that they're being abused by the officials. This is what Noynoy wants to address. However, it is very unwise for him to also strip himself off of this privilege just to serve as a role model for the Filipino. What you said is exactly my point. He is the most eligible and most viable official in the country to use this privilege because he is the president. Being stuck in traffic increases a lot of risks for him. Morbidity aside, like what you said, he'll be at risk in being ambushed and assassinated. His decision really is noble, but it is rather foolish if his constituents suffer from this in the long run.
