there is a branch of medicine which deals with the Psycho-somatic diseases.. diseases that are triggered psychologically or by the mind.. Common examples are Stress related Hypertension, Hypochondriacs, malingering. However, if you review all acquired diseases this could all be attributed to stress. Example is too much stress causing Hypertension and causes a ruptured aneurysm and eventually Coma and Death, another is Hyperthyroidism storm due to stress causing Diabetes type 2, leading to Kidney Failure etc... even cancers risks is more than doubled with stress..
What if Stress is permanently eliminated? Can Man live longer stress free? Can diseases be prevented with proper stress management? What is your opinion?

The answer to this is NO.
We can't get rid of a disease just because we got rid of stress. Yes a lot of disease is stress-related meaning one of the causes why these kinds of diseases occur is because people have a lot of stress in their system.
But if we get rid of stress, the rate of getting well would be increase since stress in one major factor that affects all the different system in our body.
Aside from stress, if we could only change our lifestyle for the better (which includes physical activities, vice, habits, and diets among others) and if we seek help from professional and we do what they advise us to do and if we likewise seek treatment then that would get rid of the different diseases we are experiencing.

Hi incus!
I agree with you that some illness are stress-related. If we could get rid of all the stress we have it would help to get rid of these stress-related illnesses. No man actually lives stress-free and as far as these stress-related illnesses are concerned being to manage stress would allow us to live longer and happier.
