I am so sorry, myLot, but it's hard for me to make time for you!

Yes, my time is limited and so can't spend as much time here and comment on too many posts as I would like to. Other things need to cared for. Besides I don't think spending too much time in front of a computer screen is that healthy for us. We need exercise!

I'm on my school holidays right now and I'm loving it here on Mylot. I spend several hours here, it's great! But I have one week left! After that, it's back to studying =/ I'm trying to fit mylot somewhere in my daily mon-fri schedule. In between the part time work, writing online, doing Aikido...err! lol I can definitely understand where you're coming from, Steph.

I have been inactive in Mylot a lot of times already. That explains why I only have 1500+ posts here in Mylot and has just been paid twice. I admit, a lot of things draws my attention away from Mylot, work, preparation for the board exams, other online money making sites and more work. Though I really try to visit the site and post as much as I can to catch up, but sometimes my work really gets a lot of my time. At present, I have been actively participating in Mylot for almost 3 straight weeks. Hopefull this will remain like that and I hope to be rewarded fruitfuly for my hardwork.

Very often, Steph.:-) I'm sharing my computer with my husband and he has the one who has the leverage to use it more often as I am always busy with the kids and the house chores. Even if I wanted to visit Mylot, I just couldn't do it . Either I have to finish everything first or wait for my husband to finish what he is doing in the pc. By the way, he works from home, mostly writing proposals for their organization that's why I don't want to interrupt him...

I actually don't feel that way. Because I know for myself that I have more important things to do rather than mylotting. I prioritize more my family, the activities with my family. Because I feel guilty sometimes when I am just sitting in front of the computer and doing mylot, but miss the activities with my family. That I feel sorry for myself. So lately, I realized that it's okay if I could participate less here in mylot than to miss my family. I'll just do here in mylot when I have a lot of spare time.

Of course, we all have our real lives, and no matter how reluctant we are, virtual life can't replace real life. Take me as an instance, now I spend 5-6 hours lotting here, it's only because I'm just graduate from university and my postgraduate live haven't begun. After August 28th, I must reduce lotting time largely for my PhD degree study. But I think I will try my best to squeeze out some time per day for myLot. I inly wish that myLot can live for more than 60 years from now, then I can come back here after retirement

i so know what you mean. this is the first time that it has taken me about 6 months to make payout. usually i make it in 3 or 4 months!

hi stephanieannc don't fuss yourself as I am sure we all understand that your real life must come first and we will be eagerly waiting for you when you are able to come back. I felt the same way today but my son Robbie has been here visiting with me and as he has a new job he can really only come on the weekends. We are so thrilled as he was out of work for a year and a half so this is just great.So now I am back on and since my roomie is in the hospital I can stay up a bit later if necessary to t ry to get caught up. and Tuesday morning I have an eye dr. appt. and Wednes morning a shopping trio so will my lot in the afternoons.

of course i will miss mylot when i am not able to come here for a long time. there are such times that we cannot prevent, like an emergency medical check-up, or someone came in to visit your office or you have important guest in the house. i only catch up with the discussions of my friends when i come back.

You are not the only one who misses mylot, even i dont have time to spare for here. these days my work load has gotten bigger and i am taking a few minutes to spend my time here in mylot, i try my best to come here, i miss lot of my friends here, most of the people like me miss every day of mylot, mainly because the have their work of their own. its rare that sometime i forget to come here. for the past years i was very excited here even now. but my duty calls for it to take rest.

I always feel that way. I am a very busy man with busy schedules and extra-curricular activities and it's hard for me to find time here in myLot. But I'm trying hard to at least drop by for a response or two in a day.

Yes this happens very often in my school days. When I come from school I am so tired to do other things and yes sometimes I am inactive here like two months from march to may. Every people have their real life's too and sometimes we just can't do what we want in my situation log in myLot. It would be nice If this situations would be less, but they are so much how they are. You are not alone. Yes I do. I think a lot of us myLotters do as well. There are just too many things to do and too little time. I spend almost all my time either at work or at home. While at home I normally have the computer on. That's when I keep up with myLotting as I move around doing things I'm supposed to do. The beauty of a laptop is that it's portable. When I need to be away for sometime I just put it on hibernation.

yes...i have ever felt this way about myLot.. i was pretty busy the past few days that i really felt like i neglected Homer quite a bit.. i'm lucky that he didn't just run wild all over myLot by himself without me being there to control him so when i can't do anything about my time to get on to myLot as frequent as i want to, i just have to get on it when i am able too.. no point to force myself..i'd just end up getting stressed up and then it might be a totally different story altogether

StephanieAnnC, Being quite connected with my wireless broadband access and that I travel a fair bit - I do not really miss out on most of my internet activities which will include posting on myLot. Like while attending the finals of the 19th FIFA World Cup Soccer tournament I was actually typing away a few responses before the match in the Soccer City Stadium amidst of the 84,490 spectators, which I felt was really cool and appreciative of how technology has progressed to what it is today. I do not miss out much on my personal accesses as I really have a lot of waiting time to do it. In other words, you just cannot find me doing nothing during my waiting or free times - so I can always stay on schedule here.

I don't spend a lot of time here also due to work and other priorities. But whenever I have a vacant time and have something I would like to discuss I often visit mylot. I also participate on discussions from other users. I really think mylot is a great place to get other peoples input and their different points of view on certain topics. Its a great place for me to learn new things and interact with other people.
