American radio stations

I would say that most stations in the United States have a very short playlist because they repeat the same songs over and over again everyday. It would be better to listen to my own playlist so I just turn it off and put my mp3 player on the stereo. Do Americans still listen to the radio?

I only get a chance to listen to the radio while I'm in a vehicle, and the radio is on. I actually would not bother to turn ON the radio myself if I were alone. My iPod is way better than that.

We listen to the radio in which ever vehicle we are using. Usually a local station. Especially when there is a ball game being reported on. Other wise we watch TV at home, even CMT is good for afternoons.
