I have trouble accepting authority in any part of my life. I got pulled over by the police the other day for doing an illegal u-turn. The funny thing was, they had to do an illegal u-turn to pull me over, so I argued with them that I didn't deserve a ticket because they did the exact same thing. If they are supposed to be an authority over us, why do we have to obey their laws when they constantly break them themselves.

Yeh unfortunately but only because I was told if I didn't stop arguing with them, they would go over my car and conveniently defect it.

it is the negative side of accepting authority when the one who initiate will be the one to break it.happy mylotting

Well I find it very difficult to take advice from youngsters who were taught all they know by me at the start of their careers. Today they are Managers somewhere else and seem to think they know everything about the subject they were taught by me and come and give me free advice, even when not asked for!

i used to obey patiently the authorities though sometimes they will exceed to my value standards. but sometimes when i cannot bear them anymore and my patience are gone, i walked out of their sight , resign or make a lawful protest on them..i never put the law on my bare hands but i believe in justice through proper order.

At Work. I have manager experience and when i start at a job I would like to obtain management positions. I now work at a family local diner and they are all about seniority there. I guess it makes it better for people who haven't done anything with their lives but work there, but I have. If I try to have any insight on anything there, they look down upon me and say that I am trying to act as if I know it all. Which is not my intention at all, I am just very experienced in restaurant and would like the girls to be on the same level not try and act above me because I am the new person!
