My son is turning 5 and he wants his theme to be dirt bikes. I am no artist keep this in mind but share some ideas of yours that you might have. I need good artistic ideas on how to make his cake and decorate it. What are yours???

I would probably make a sheet cake and frosten it. Make it look like a track and put a toy dirt bike on it to look like it is in motion. He will then have a toy after washing it. My granddaughter had a cake with a care bear on it and when working on clearing out the toy box (now 5) told me we had to keep it, it was on her birthday cake and meant a lot to her.

I had some what of the same Idea but for the track I am going to crush oreo cookie and mix it with a little bit of pudding for the texture. He said he wants his dirt bike dirty lol so ill throw some chocolate pudding on that as well. But what else should i put on it?

Oh my. Scenery of some sort. A little bit of green grass, a few spectators. Maybe a half of cup cake to make a hill. Wow the possibilities are almost endless. Just have fun so he can.

You can crush oreos to make a dirt track and buy some of those small plastic dirtbikes from the toy store. You can also get road signs and cones. I did a skateboard cake once and used tech deck toys. It came out great.
