What is really Judgement day?End of the World,?Is it just Death of Oneself?

So many years passed by, many predicts the end of the World is coming,Judgment Day or the second coming of Christ...but to this date still the world is alive and the Mystery is continuously un -explained.As the bible tells no one can predict that,but to others it is just a metaphor,what it really means is to tell the people to repent and change...to Christians one must believe in Jesus, when one is out of bound by the christian teachings, then that metaphor is used..Death to others is the Judgement day,the end of the World, or death is the second coming of Christ, because to christians mostly before the last breathe,they ask forgiveness...Judgement day,End of the World,Second coming of Christ,Is it true or just a metaphor?
share some thoughts,bible gurus...

No one can really tell when is the judgment day. Many had predicted or prophesied the coming of Jesus, but it seems up to this day, the earth is still whole to exist. However, that does not mean we have to stop believing. There have been countless of movies depicting end of the world and the latest was 2012. Who knows this can be real? Though that would be possible.

that is why most of the teaching Tell's us to repent because no one knows the coming of those days..instead of asking forgiveness when the end of days comes , why not repent now, i think that is the message here, repent now before its too late and be saved...Thanks!

Man will not know the date or time of the Last Days or Judgement Day. The Bible has mentioned that believers should stay alert and be prepared for the Second Coming.

Yes carpediem,no one knows the date and time,believers who always sinned must repent now, and the non- believers must believe now to be saved...but to other religion is there a Judgement Day, i really don't about the Book of Quran or Koran are there similarities?anyways Thanks!

forgot to mention. I believe Judgement Day is a day when you stand before God and is judged by your deeds and if your name is in the Book of Life - eternal life that is.

You are right! Many have predicted the end of the world, but the world is still here. As well you are right when you say that the bible says that no one but god will know when Jesus Christ will return. I also believe that we should ask for forgiveness and do our best to live a righteous and humble life. Now even though I am a Christian I also believe that when the Lord returns it will only be the end of an age not the end of the world. As well being a Christian we are taught not to judge or condemn others for the way they live there lives and what religion or spiritual paths they live. What it all comes down to in the end is when judgment day comes for us all if your name is in the Book of Life you will live eternal life in heaven and if your name is not in the Book of Life then you will spend an eternity in Hell. So until that day comes we should all just do our best to live a righteous and humble life.
