Best Response?

No, you don't have to choose best response for your discussions. You can choose best response if the response meet your need. Choose the best response only if the response really answer your problem. Otherwise, don't need to choose the best response. If you find good responses beside of the best response you have chose, you just rate (+) to the good responses you've got. Not choosing the best response won't affected anything. The most important you have to do and could affected your earning and ratting is comment on the responses you've got for your discussions. By comment on the responses you've got, you are involved in your discussions. This is mylot want from us.

As for me, we should select a best response from those who response from our posted discussion. Why? it's because it adds glitters to the discussions, it gives an excitement for all the posters and made them inspired to also post their own thoughts and ideas. Like me, when i was still new here in my lot, I didn't know that my response would be chosen as the best one. When I opened my email, it informed me there so i was so excited to browse to my Lot and then read the entire discussion. At first, I don't know who had select my response and when I realized it came from the person who post the discussion I begun to also select the best response to my posted discussion.

Hello! I too do not do this, but before some days I select best responses to all my discussions. This is not required, but It is the good way to Thank you myLot users for their job. You do not get nothing material, but you can cause people to smile. Also people reputation increases. It would be nice If you do It myLot members will be grateful. If you want to give a best response just go to your discussions and chose response who is the best for your thoughts. Have a nice day!

Hi monaquezada, welcome to myLot. Now, it is entirely upto you if you want to mark Best Response or not on your discussions. There is nothing to be gained by it except that you make a member feel good. However, it is important to note that myLot has advised us to wait at least 7 days before marking BR. This will give all the members a chance to read your discussion and post their response if they want to. If you give out your BR too quick, it may discourage other members to post their responses. It is a good practice to do it at the right time. It makes the other person want to read your other discussion thereby giving you more chance to comment on their responses; which will of course increase your earnings.
