good brand of guitars

hey guys, i have played guitar for about 7 years now, but ive used the same guitar the whole time. i want to get a new guitar a step up in quality right now i have a ibanez. let me know what you use and what you think i should get, thanks!!

I don't think you can step much higher than Ibanez, they are a pretty high quality instrument. I prefer Jackson myself, I have a Rhoads series V and have used it for years. Washburn is another good name, Charvel (parent of Jackson) is a a good choice too.
