Well, now it's the rasberries turn for me from my garden. I have been picking berries for a couple weeks now. After a few gallon bags were frozen, I finally made some Rasberry Jam. 10 pint jars so far and still a couple gallon bags in the freezer of berries. yet more ripe on the bushes to pick as well. Gawd I love the sunshine. Makes for many tasty juicy berries. I may try my hand at some rasberry cobbler thanks to a friends comment in another discussion earlier today. What's your fave homemade treat from things you grew? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Wow those looks so jam look very nice and tasty! I guess you must be having lots of resberries plants to get that much of berries. Please post pictures of those berry plants with ripe and red resberries.

hi Grandpa Bob in the fall when I was back on the farm we always had bushels of apples and the one thing I loved so much was my mom's apple cobbler with a scoop of ice cream and a glass of cold milk so g ood. today at lunch the dessert was apple cobbler and because I am diabetic I got a nice little cup of diabetic ice cream, sugar'free of course and vanilla. Oh for the good old days.I can imagine Raspberry cobbler would be so good wow.Raspberries are one of my favorites and I will even just eat a bowl of them with some cold milk or a diet soda.Because I have diverticulitis I am not really supposed to eat any berries that are seedy but raspberries and strawberries have never bothered me at all.Blackberries and boysen berries though I do not eat much as I love them because they will make me ill. Your raspberry jam looks so pretty wow, even good enough to eat.lol

That all sounds truly wonderful Bob. The amounts are just amazing and I find myself wishing I could sample some of your jam.. I've used home grown oranges to make marmalade which was great and I made some green tomato chutney many years ago which was really yummy.

Wow, I think you win the raspberry contest. Not this kind - One of these years I may grow fruits and vegetables. Not enough time right now.

Your raspberry jam looks awesome! The jam I make every year is apricot jam because I have an apricot tree in my back yard. I also leave some frozen pulp and frozen halves to make pies anf kuchens in Winter. You could do that if you have enough freezer capacity. You can even serve out od season half frozen raspberries.
