Why someone should follow his religion. I am not an expert. But I know I donot need any person to be in middle of me and god. I could be on the right way and the way which could not affect other’s people life, that is the essence of all the religion. In some cases religion is being shown in a way which could become a hard thing to follow. What are your views.

Should not follow "his" (same level of consciousness of individuals) religion, but should follow "His" (The God Almighty or the Creator).

Because his or their religion are helping tools, guidance or to have focus to know HIm and be with Him. What I referring as "his" are for other individuals like me also and not the religion directly. How can I elevate my soul's spiritual growth to be with Him if I'll just follow him or them or with the same level of my consciousness? So the best way is to follow a higher consciousness to elevate my soul's spiritual growth.

following the one you refer as "His" is a religion... so doesn't make sense

Hi 1anurag1, I agree with you completely. It amazes me how people put so much faith in pastors, ministers and priests. Some of them may have seven or eight years of study at universities and theological college, others may have only a year or two of Bible College but it makes no difference, they still know no more than you or me. Study the scriptures for yourself and don't depend on such people. All those "experts" will do is give the answer that their particular religion teaches. Blessings.

I've been a Catholic Christian since I was a baby, so though there are things about my religion that I don't necessarily agree with, I also don't question a lot because it is the only thing that I've ever known. That said, I think that the main reason that people find it to be important to follow their own personal religions is so that they have something that they can hold onto. If a person doesn't have this to cling to, they might very well feel lost.

Religion is like a mother, who introduces the child to his father. She tells him who his father is. No one can know God unless religion tells him or her who God is. None can lead a righteous life by mastering his or her opposing tendencies. None can be righteous by mastering the art of pretense. To lace your conduct with God's nature you have to adore and worship him, emulate His good qualities then only it is possible to lead a good life. Religion teaches us how to have faith in God and how to adore and worship Him.

I don't have any need of being a christian (since my mom and dad arranged it at that time). Yet I don't follow nor have the need to go to church or anything alike. I'm an atheist, as I don't follow a religion that thinks about any kind of god...
