What's next for Harry Potter

Obviously, there is a lot of controversy sweeping the web on the NEW Harry Potter movie, which will be released in November 2010, but what will be next for the Harry Potter franchise? There is already a Harry Potter themed world at Universal's theme park, but will this be the last we see of the heroic figure? Please right your comments and speculate on what is next for the "Boy Who Lived."

I haven't really heard anything about what's next in the Harry Potter, books and movies alike. Other books in the Harry Potter series were also published like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, etc. But aside from those, I don't think there will be other books which are going to be about the adventures of Harry. I believe the fans are pressing J.K. about making Harry Potter novels, but I don't think she has any plans yet as she's still busy making the last movie. But I really really hope she will write HP novels as I'm sure they will be very much appreciated by the fans. Let's hope guys. =)

It would be neat if JKR wrote more books based in the Harry Potter universe. They wouldn't necessarily have to be about Harry but could be about the adventures of new characters. Or she could write about characters that were mentioned in the Harry Potter books but never really explored. I would personally love to read a biography of Edric the Evil. The future of the series is up to her and we'll have to be content with whaterve she does. But I'll always remember the excitement I felt whenever a brand new Harry Potter book came out. It was better than Christmas!

to tell you the truth, i don't there's gonna be something else for Harry Potter after the movies come out. "It All Ends Here." It's true. But it's the story that's going to end. Not the magic that Harry Potter has brought us. I don't something as great as Harry Potter will come out in the next few centuries. :D

I was wondering the same thing, but unfortunately I don't really have an answer. I can't imagine what they'll come up with next. Maybe JK Rowling is working on another book, to turn into a movie? The 7th book ends really well, so I can't imagine there will be any other books in the series about it. LOL. But it seems like such a huge phenomenom to just end now, you know?

In my opinion, the boy who lived will live forever. Harry Potter has been such a great success that whenever you hear about wizards or witches, you will always end up thinking of him. Harry Potter will forever be embedded in the mind of all of us, fans and anti-fans alike. That's how big Harry Potter is. :-)
