do you ever get tired of shopping either online or going to the mall to shop? i have ordered a few things from ebay as of late and find that the last few days, i have no desire to even look at ebay. this is true not only with ebay, but i really have no interest in going to the mall or taking a look at other shopping sites. do you ever shopping fatigue? what about after Christmas shopping?

Oh yes, I often get fed up of shopping. Like you, I have recently bought quite a few bits of summer clothing cheaply off ebay, then I decide to take a few days' break as I get bored of looking at all the listings every day! I don't mind Xmas shopping because it is more varied and I spread it out from October to December, online and offline.

It's hard shopping when I have 2 little ones with me the whole time - and that's when I can get tired from shopping (it's just a lot of extra work to be out). But if I get a chunk of time to myself (which is rare), I can shop til I drop - hee hee!! I don't even bother with after Christmas shopping - I don't want to be amongst the crazy crowds. Oh - I don't shop online . . . I love going "out" to shop!

I view shopping as drudgery. I go to Wal-Mart for groceries and other personal needs once a week (which I hate). I try to go early to miss the crowds, I make a quick entrance and exit. I do the bulk of my shopping online for bigger purchases as it is more convenient for me, I just don't care for in store shopping much.

Hi cher! I do sometimes wear myself out shopping both online and at the stores! I have been on a "mission" for the last month determined to find this "flip chair" that I want! I have one that I purchased I don't know how many years ago and it has fallen apart. It is a chair that kind of converts to a "sleeper mat". I found it on several sites, but the prices were outrageous! They varied from site to site so I have been driving myself crazy to get the "best" deal between the price of the chair and the shipping. The cheapest deal is $134 so I think I will try this new site that I found while doing my searches. I bought if from Kmart and they refused delivery because the chair was $79.99 and the shipping was $65.00! Now that made no sense! I do sometimes get so overwelhemed and worn out from too much online shopping too!

I do get tired but not of shopping, it's rather after shopping. Walking through the stalls at the malls and through different shops is like exercise to me. I don't necessarily have to buy at every shop I walk through. I just love browsing through what are the stuff they sell, what are the hottest items, what are the newest trends and things that are unexpected. It feeds my creative side. And I would browse through anything, whether it be clothes, shoes, furniture, interior decorations, wherever my feet takes me. For me it is like leisure time, window shopping that is, not necessarily buying everything that delights my eye. So the act itself is actually relaxing to me. What is stressful is when you are looking for something that you need to buy or when you "have" to buy something because then it becomes more like a chore to me, that is why I do my Christmas shopping early and not during the season. I get tired after walking for a long time so after shopping I head to the spa for a relaxing massage or I go to those massage chairs.

As much as possible, I try to avoid the holiday rush. The malls are so crowded and some people take advantage of it. AS to online shopping, I've looked around but I am wary of buying things especially clothes online since there were times that my purchases were a disappointment. What I usually do is I go to the mall early bring a girl pal along, browse around since I tend to be impulsive and hang out somewhere (preferably a coffee shop), catch up and then when the mall is not so crowded go and get the things that I need. It's a great way to curve those impulsive urges and at the same time spend some quality time with my best buds. Maybe at the end of the day, your feet hurt but when you think about it, it is worth it.

I definitely think shopping is tiring! You're on your feet the entire day and usually are carrying a lot. Especially at Christmas time I get tired while shopping. If I'm going on a quick shopping mission where I only need to pick up a few things I don't usually get too tired, it's more so the day shopping trips that tire me out!

I never tire of shopping. It doesn't matter if it's retail or online. Shopping in never boring or tiresome to me.

Yes, definitely. Either after having shopped a lot, of if I am feeling kind of down and uninspired in general. So it happens!
