Where's The Competition?

I have observed that gender contest or gender competition discussions are appearing more and more here in myLot. It's very clear that people really lack gender awareness. Questions like, who's better in this and that guys or girls, imposes gender inequality. Yeah I'm a guy, but I'm not rooting for guys. Both genders are affected by these discussions. Say in one of those discussions girls won there would be a general agreement by myLot that girls are better in whatever field, when in reality, any gender can do them equally. It's the twenty first century guys and girls. We should all move for gender equality. It's time for us to consider and accept the fact that genders are no longer confined in roles the society believes they should play. Genders could interchange parts and roles. I know neither gender will accept that the other gender is better than them. That's why we just have to accept that both can do the same things. =)

How refreshing to hear that after the discussion I got myself in the other night!!! Of course we're all the same and there is good and bad in both genders - some men are better than some women at certain thing s and vica versa I think the only thing that we can surely agree with is that it is women only who can carry and give birth to a child - but they do need the help of a man!!!!

True! Haha. That's the only thing men can't do. Regarding gender equality: I feel sad that people don't seem to acknowledge the facts that we presented. Maybe they just can't accept the fact that the other gender can do what the other claim that they're only ones who can. Or maybe people who post those things just take advantage of the fact that gender equality has yet to be accepted by everyone. And they think that a lot of people will surely respond to their discussion just to prove the better gender.

Both genders have its own identity. In this generation, men and women have an equal opportunity in holding roles in job related issues, anyone of them could be a supervisor and become manager later. Men's capabilities are quite tougher when comes to decision making and implementation compare to ladies, but speaking of organized yet detailed performance women could attain it well compare to men... I don't know how you evaluate yourself in this situation but I observed it myself in a great company I worked with here (abroad). In any private and government organizations/departments, nowadays both genders are occupying high positions. It only shows that the equation is equally done on men and women. It's just that everybody had been educated so they cope up both outstanding roles that nobody could give biased treatment.
