I don't know, I think no one knows what we will become in the future and never thought about it too. I was just living my life one day at a time with each passing day.

To be honest with you, I didn't thought about what I should be getting in college, my parents wanted me to become a nurse and it's not until my last year that I realized that I loved it already. And, never thought that I will be doing the job that I have right now yet I am loving it so much.

well no one knows what we become but we sure think about it of what we will do in the future. you must have thought of what you'll study, what job you'll do and so on. didn't you?

Nope my life has not turned out how I expected at all... I thought when I was at school that I would get a nice office job, get married have kids, and have a nice house lol... Well I got an office job, but only in a taxi office lol, nothing glamorous, um... I never quite made marriage, not yet anyway, but I did gain two kids. I guess I am 30 years old, and that is quite young still in people eyes, so I guess there is still plenty of time for me to do something. I don't really have aims any more, I kind of just take each day as it comes, as you never know what to expect. I am not depressed about my life and the way it is, I think that it has been an experience, both bad and good. I think for me, settling down and having a family in my younger years seemed to be my aim, and I did not really concentrate on much else, but now that I am older, I have started to think about more of what maybe I should do, once my kids are a little older, and at school full time.

wow, this is something i didn't expect. but i think that you're not that old to give up aim like that. everything can get a little better or a little worse, just try and try to get the best of it. Really appreciate your response.

No, I'm not where I thought I would be at this age. I was just talking about this with my husband. When I was in middle school, I had my future set. I knew what college I was going to go to and what I was going to major in. All of that changed my senior year in high school. I don't know why I changed my mind, but I did. I kind of regret it, but I don't regret getting married. I am trying to get back in school though so I can do what intended on doing in the first place. I won't change my major this time, LOL.

Hi nirose, When I was still in my High School, I hardly had any goal set for myself. Was a happy go lucky sort of guy. This is only after I made it to College started thinking seriously as to what I would be in future. Teaching always fascinated me more than any other thing. Came to final settlement that I would be College Lecturer. Then after completing my graduation opted for post graduation. I succeeded in my effort. Here in our country to be a College Lecturer one needs to have more than 55% marks in the subject one specialize on. I got it and soon after my result was declared I applied for a post of lecturer in a college and fortunately I got selected and now I am one. Thus what I wanted to be in my youth came true and I am happy about it.
