Though this site really entertains us all there are some people who's not in favor to this cool google owned video-sharing website due to it's free aired video around the world. A lot of material can be found in this website, you can watch and be entertained by simply logging onto the website and conducting a search to whatever one maybe interested in viewing. But movie producers, actors and film makers around the world is not comfortable with this ever growing site because 30 to 70 percent of the video's being up-loaded daily is movie related content. Do you think YouTube is one instrument of Piracy?

it is in a way, but not in a huge way. i mean, i have seen stuff in there that got removed because they violated copyright, meaning their staff are doing their jobs investigating on which materials are legal and not. megaupload is a huge instrument of piracy. i can watch almost anything there.

Yes, that is true but it is also an instrument of spreading information, people getting discovered for their talents, and even praising God. It is up to the users how they use the site. But I have to agree that I too get to watch missed shows or movies on Youtube because we do want it free. I think Youtube should be stricter when it comes to piracy. And if people don't want their works being pirated, they must specify or apply for copyright.

Millions of user's are up-loading video's daily, youtube must be particular in each and every video's being up-loaded specially to those with copyrights,.

Absolutely, there is so much private stuff on there it is ridiculous. However You-tube also provides very valuable information as well. It is just the way of today, everyone wants a piece of the action.

YouTube doesn't promote copyright infringement, but people upload copyrighted material because they want internet attention. YouTube suspends them because it clearly says in the T?OS that you shouldn't use copyrighted material, the only exception is for criticism or review. Sometimes they'll monetize songs but not all the time.
