Hi moneyneversleeps of course you can make online payments with your paypal balance but it comes with a rider..the one receiving the money must approve of such type of payment.There are merchants who receive only credit cards are are averse to paypal hence they won't receive your payment method.Still as long as you can find tarders and merchants accepting paypal as the mode of payment you can resort to paying in this fashion provided there is sufficient balance in your account.

If you have money in your paypal account then you can spend it. With a credit card it allows you to cover any amount that you don't have if you were to buy something where it cost more then your paypal balance.
