Breast feeding? Are women put under too much pressure?

In the news this morning TV presenter Denise Van Oulton has reported that she has had to give up breast feeding her baby as she was getting photographed etc as she is in the public eye.
Also her husband wanted to help out with feeding the baby.
I can foresee her getting a slating from the liberal brigade who - in my opinion - are just too quick to jump down women's throats when they choose - or are forced - into not breast feeding.
Personally I had tried to breast feed all my children, with the aid of midwives, breast pumps etc all failed, but I didn't feel any guilt. I do know that probably breast milk is the best nutritional choice for babies, breastfeeding may not be possible for all women and I don't think that they should be put under the pressure they are to do so if their choice is not to.
My youngest daughter is expecting her first baby in September and she is adament that she DOES NOT want to breast feed, but she is being put under constant pressure already - goodness knows what it will be like when she actually gives birth!!
My daughter is an intelligent young woman who has read all the information and made her own decision to suit her and her husband's life, surely this should be the mother's choice and they should not be put under so much pressure and made to feel a 'bad mother' if they choose not to.
