Does Any Member Here Have a Successful Affiliate Website?

Hi Friends! When one is researching the best ways to make money on the net, One method which gets highly recommended by 'experts' is - Affiliate Marketing. People swear by it asserting that all their riches have come because of this one method. So far my experience has been hopeless - both theoratically (I can't visualise how it can be easy to sell when you have so much competition on the net) and practically! There are many things I don't get though I have read a lot of study material on the same. I tend to think it is highly competitive and long drawn with maybe a little chance of success. So, I would like to know if any one of you has a SUCCESSFUL Affiliate Website and if you can share your experience on the same.
