Essay questions aren't as horrible as you think.

Yeah, that's a statement that's going to make the heads of some people explode, but hear me out. With multiple choice and fill in the blank questions, there is pretty much a cut and dry answer. With essays, there is a wide degree of interpretation for the question and there can be more than one right answer. Plus, you can get part of an answer right and get some points. I know essays are tedious but they can be the best part of the final a lot of the time, as even if you don't get everything, some points are better then none at least.
