black-eyed peas for supper!

Yep, I just put on a slow cooker full of black eyed peas. They should be done just in time for supper tonight! I have been making different kinds of beans. Just finished off the pot of lima bean soup I made the other day. Before that it was chili beans made with black beans. And tonight it's black eyes!! I'm trying to experiment a little bit and come up with some easy but really delicious recipes! Any ideas to share?

I brought a crock pot a few months ago and they're brilliant for cooking beans and pulse which usually take forever to cook. With black eyed beans I'd either make a curry or just add some vegetable stock, some tinned tomatoes and loads of veg.

I didn't think about all that, I just tossed in a bunch of onions and a little salt. They were really good too. Of course I put some fresh chopped onions on top before I ate them!
