I personally am used to Windows XP Service Pack 2 and this will be my operating system until I get more performance for my notebook. The next OS that I will move on will surely be Windows 7 because I like the feature that installs you all the drivers you need if you have a internet connection.

For me it's Windows 7.. the Vista OS is so slow even at start ups.. its memory hungry on the hard disk which we will eventually lead to slower computer performance..

I don't use both of them. I still love my XP . But from what I heard, Vista is consuming your memory too much and slowing down the system. So if I want to change my OS, I prefer to use 7.

Many people say vista sucks and i believed it, but it really isn't. Vista is great for personal use, XP is ofcourse better in other areas but vista is also good.

I installed vista on my system, but there is a lot of problem like bad performance, less speed etc. All the defects of windows vista are covered by Windows 7. But to get better performance you need to buy it.
