How do you fight stress?

When you find yourself too stressed with everyday life, what do you do? When I closed down my business and stayed home, yes for a few months it was bliss but when the days turned into months, it started to get boring. Although there were a lot of things to be done at home it was never the same when you were around with people. Now what do I do to fight stress? I go out and just window shop with a friend sometimes buying things which I don't need. Going out with friends to watch a movie or just plain talking to catch up. How about you?

Meditation and pranayama are the best to fight against stress.

What I do is listen to music. Music soothes me alot. Or i just sit down and write. Either in my journal or writing poetry. But when all else fails I just to hang with friends.

Take leave and go to seashore,mountains,forest or desert. Travel will make you free from anxiety or mental pressure. During your vacation don't read any newspaper. Forget the present world. Make you free as a wild bird. I think this will bring good result.

I fight stress by walking for hours, visiting the gym, swimming, window shopping, watching movies, eating my favorite foods, spending long hours surfing the net, out of town trips, and reading.

i fight stress by going out with my parents.I dont have any stress at any time accept studies that the only thing i dont like.and when ever ill be in stress i go to my parents they are realy gud friend of mne i think they are the best frien they solve my problem..

I think the best way to fight stress is to do something you really like. What this is, is different for different people of course. I personally take long walks on the beach with my dog, read magazines or books, or make some kind of crafts. All those things really relax me, but might not work for other people!

hi there, i think the best way to fight stress is for you to take a pause when things goes rough and take deep breath and think of an event in your life that you were very happy, do that everytime you think and feel that stress is on its way to mess your time. through that simple and shrot way you can relax your self manage your stress..make it a habit..

I would advise you to do the things that you do. Pick out some hobbies that interests you. That should take away the stress. Or get a massage, that always helps me to relax. If you have extra cash, my way to get out of stress is to travel, even though I do it the budget way, when I see a whole new environment , it recharges me. Although I get tired from the travel and sightseeing, I feel everything is all worth it because I was able to do the things I want.
