Do you love to read books? well, I do. I have read a lot of them including both twilight and Harry potter series. BAsically both have different stories but something in common and that's fictionality. How do you find tne plots for both stories in books and in movies? I know there are a lot of dissimilarities on the movie if you really read the book.

I read twilight and I'm disappointed how the movie didn't turn out as good as the written story. I haven't read any harry potter books because they're pretty expensive but I've watched the movies, I love the series and I won't get bored watching them all in one movie marathon.

I prefer in anyway the books before the movies. Most of the time, the movies that adapted from novels donĀ“t make justice to the books. The books have the exact idea of the writer about the history. I think that if you compare what you imagine while reading and what you can see in the big screen the first one will always win.

I love the Harry Potter series. I, too, have read all the movies and watched all the movies. However, I feel that the movies are better than the actual books. Why I say this?? You may ask. Well, even though I appreciate and respect the fact that J.K. Rowling created a world all her own, complete with history and everything... yet she is a mediocre author.... her style of writing is aimed more towards children than adults making the read a very simple one.

I find it interesting to read first the book before I watch the movie. But I find books to be more imaginative than the actual movie. I just don't like the way JK wrote the whole book coz I agree with you its intendd for children to read it rather than adults.

I`ve read Twilight and Harry Potter series and I can say that they are my favourites. They create for you an escape from reality into a world that you can only imagine.Stephenie Meyer and J.K. Rowling are describing the chaeacters and their worlds with a lot of details that do not apear in the movies. I think sometimes the scenes aren`t too tied together ,especially in Twilight films, and if you don`t know the action ,you`ll miss important parts of it presented in the book. The characters` feelings are also revealed much better in the books. So ,in my opinion,if you want to understand very well the action and what characters feel, you would better read the books.

I prefer to watch movies than read books about the above-mentioned blockbuster films. Of course watching movies is a lot different than just read the books. In motion picture everything is involved, your senses, vision, feelings, and the twists are so real, in the book the words only ignited your imagination but not the total feeling of being involved in the story, the enthusiasm is not completely felt.

I like the movies but not the books... have never been a fan of reading books, unless they are educational.

I've read both Twilight and Harry Potter books and I think the Harry Potter series was better. I got into Twilight when I heard that it was comparable to the HP books but they were so wrong. Harry Potter was loads better. The story in Twilight was too pathetic and overly dramatic. I just don't like Bella being always the damsel in distress. I like the adventure and fantasy in Harry Potter. Even if the movie was kinda different from the book, I still like watching it. Every movie and book has a very exciting plot and a well written story. JK Rowling is really a very good writer.
