What is a 'jobsworth'? A 'jobsworth' is one of those people who when asked to do something replies with a sharp intake of breath "That's more than my job's worth"!! In the UK 'jobsworths' seem to be growing rapidly; the latest example of a 'jobsworth' at work is shown in this BBC article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-10650160 Road painters who were painting white lines down the centre of a road on the Hampshire-Wiltshire border left a gap for a dead badger because they said it was not their job to move it.
