I agree! Leave us be...I mean who are we hurting?? nobody...so why condemn us? If you would have asked the same question about interacial couples back in the 60s many would have said yes but again, are we hurting anyone? absolutely not...I really feel that such a negative hateful attitude is the cause of many of societies problems really....ppl are ppl and we all have the right to live happily, love uncondtionally and be loved unconditionally...

Gays and lesians are more accepted in the United States and Canada than other countries. There are many programs on TV and movies that deal with gay subjects and it has become a way of life. I was always supportive of gay people and I had a gay friend when I was living in Toronto. BUt after reading the bible, it doesn't support it and my minister explains why there are aids, ect. Well, my view is that we are not to judge others and should love one another and let god judge whether it's right or wrong. I have seen cases where people have had family disown them and are tortured because they're gay. Is it right to frown upon them and spread hate because they're different. I don't know if it's wrong or right but I do know that you have to accept them because we can't change that they're gay. We can only support them and let god judge it.

Where does the Bible explain AIDS? The last time I checked, AIDS wasn't known to exist back when people (yes, people!) wrote the Bible.
Anything a minister says about the Bible is just their interpretation of it. It doesn't mean it's the word of God or even the words of the people who originally wrote the Bible.
I'm glad that you don't try to judge though. I'm not Christian, but I notice a lot of Christians miss that part. They seem to think they're the ones to judge everyone.

My "personal" belief is that we are all sharing this planet together. We in the USA have no choice but to be with people from different cultures, religions, races, etc. Who am I to tell someone what to believe, whether it is in God, Ala, the Pope, etc. Who am I to tell someone whether they should sleep with their own kind, being gender, race, religion, social status. Who am I to tell anyone anything, all I can do is share my personal belief or opinion and if the receiver chooses to listen then hopefully he or she heard something that would impel his or her own thought patterns on a subject to further condemn or accept it.
