Do you believe that 1 in 5 relationships start by online dating?

Do you think this is true statement that online dating sites are using to pull more people into there market? Do you think more people are meeting up in other ways? If so which ways do think people are using? Have you met you boyfriend or girlfriend online? or have met in other ways? Yes, I have two friends who met two outstanding men on the Internet and now they are very happy. It is a good possibility if people are sincere. Unfortunately there are many who follow the Internet for other purposes.

Hello cip116, Thanks for the reply. That is good hear about your friends. I am so glad they are happy and in love. It just you always here the negative this issue and was hoping people would let us know if this is a trend or fad or something that is now part of our culture and here to stay and wondering if my children generation will be more online dating then the traditional way especially if they do not get married or have a boyfriend when they graduate college. yes i believe it^^ i had some friends in a site and still have and many of them were in relationships even living far away. many many ones so yes i believe that 1 in 5 started online^^ anyway i think is cute when you love someone that lives so far and go near them it shows how you really love this person^^ very very romantic^^ also me i had a bf like that before^^ just it ended before we meet near.

Hello sweetloveforeve, Yes, i agree with you it is romantic when one person or both willing to travel to keep the romance going. There got be Huge trust factor going on there. It not like to drive over like a neighbor etc.. and the phoen calls to keep you close too. I was just wonderign that is all and say one online dating site this on there commercial and was wondering if the gernal publice felt the same way! Thanks for the reply. I met my fiancé online and now we've been together for 3years and are engaged :) I really hope it will last and I think it will ^^

yes, its true that online dating sites pull many people in their market. aside from meeting in person, people also meet in online dating site. for me its really challenging. i have tried it. i have also friends who have tried this and it really works. but i dont believe in the 1 is to 5 ratio. maybe.
