I was invited to a dinner party at a new friend's home a few nights ago, and of course accepted the invitation. Hating to attend any event stag, or alone I invited a guy friend to be my escort. My new friend has a lovely home and a beautiful family, which includes a nice looking as well a very nice husband, whom I had never met. He was so attentive to all the guest, but mostly to his wife, my new friend whom I am feeling a little envious of. You should have been there to see them slighly touching as they mingled around in the crowd of friends. I watched in disbelief. There aren't any real relationship anymore. Are there? Well, the evening went on and we were sitting and talking about life and love. My friend's husband took her hand and looked at her, then started talking about how they met. Oh, one important thing I left out, this couple has been married for eighteen years. He said that they both worked at a local university in administration, and for the longest time she would not give him the time of day. He seem to have known right away that this woman was his destiny, but didn't know how to win her over. After about a year, they had to work togeher on some project for the university and during a conversation between them, she laughed and lightly gripped his forearm. With a pleasing smile and barely opened eyes, he gripped his own arm to demonstrate this unforgetable moment in his life. " I can still feel her touch," he said and kissed the back of her hand. We all, said, "aaaah." Can you remember anything remotely that romantic happening in your own love life? I am sure once he did persuade her to give him a chance, there was a lot of touching, but to remember this particular touch so vividly only say one thing. This man is still deeply in love with his destiny. And I am envious, but I'll get over it, cause I haven't a chance, not that I would even try.

Angelgirl16! I can remember everything about our relation. When we met first, what were our dress, how we became closer, what my boyfriend told me first etc. How I can forgot the happiest moments of our lives. I think it has become possible for love to each other still now. We are a happy couple still now.

Hi, I am so happy to hear that romance can last a lifetime. Now a day it seems that everyone, just watch the media, wants to get away from each other. Just look at Al and Tipper Gore, Shocked, I was. So thank you for share some good news, that love can and does last. Cheerish every moment you share, it is rare.

I don't really remember most of the things but i certainly remember the first touch of my love and when she took my hand in her hand and took me with her. That was a very special feeling and i still remember her and feel that it has just happened today only.So these feelings are spontaneous and we remember them for our lifetime, till we die.

Hi, Isn't that first touch a magical moment? And, to have that memory in your brain for as long as you live is something special. I don't care how old we become, I think we remember. Remember Rose, in the movie the Titanic? She was an old lady, but could recall vividly the love she and Jack share as if it were yesterday. Precious memories are priceless.

well ya i do remember his first touch. it has been 3 years since we met. i remember everything crystal clear. we were on a walk and he was trying to touch my hand in order to hold it. the innocence and hesitation in his touch is just unforgettable. god i don't understand but this love is just so great. i always smile when i remember that. it erases all my tensions..

I remember him taking my hand...My husband has often talked about when I first touched him during our first date at the movies. I don’t have any recollection if that particular moment I must admit but he said that I made him ‘tremble’ when I touched his arm during the movie and whispered something to him about the film. The trembling part was his recollection, not mine (LOL)! It is lovely that his recalls that. I just remember when he about to leave at the end of the date and he took my hand and asked if he could kiss me...The hand holding is more memorable for me than the actual kiss although that was nice too. We have been married fourteen years now...
