have you tried to hunt your own food? or even fish?

well i havent tried this one and i think it would be amazing. Have seen some people in my province who hunted for dinner and such.

when i was in scouting, we were asked to produce our own food. it was easy at that time because we were in a rural area with various plants, vegetables, and some animals like chicken. it was not actually hunting, but just gathering and capturing our food. it was fun and challenging especially for starters. capturing a chicken could really be tiring and time-consuming. we were five people then who cornered a chicken. it was tasty and special if one exerted effort to have the food on the table.

i was once taught how to cook at live chicken but never hunt it.
well glad that you have been into scouting, you never know when the time comes

I used to be squeamish at the idea of killing my own food but now I'm okay with it. My husband has always hunted, and now I want to learn how to prepare any game that he got. Recently I had a life-changing experience which made me want to live as close to Nature as I possibly can. I really do believe that G-d did put animals there for our own food as well as company.
