Animals committing suicide?

I heard some animals commit suicide like this little creature called tarsier when you put them in a lot of stress. What do you think that these creatures will do to accomplish suicide?

I heard they die when you pet them frequently.

Ya by smashing their head hitting to a hard object or to bars of their cages

I heard that too. I know many birds do that, if their kids die. Simply they crush to the earth.
