I have had migraines for several years but have been diagnosed for about 5 years. I have noticed that stress will trigger a migraine along with other things such as PMS and hot weather. It seems that I have extremely bad migraines in the summer. What triggers your migraines?

I have found that stress, weather changes, chocolate, caffeine and monosodium glutamate are things that trigger a migraine for me. It differs for each person so does how it affects them. I get really dizzy, my blood pressure shoots up and my head hurts badly. I have a migraine right now but am fighting through it because I need to get work done.

I got migraines when i lack of sleep mostly.
PMS and the hot weather also make me get migraines.
we only need to take a rest and eat a lot of fruits...
Get well soon..

My deep thoughts. I have had migraines for as long as I can remember, fortunately they are not constant and repetitive. Although headaches are a daily ritual for me.
I go into this mode where I think until my brains go haywire. Migraines are so detrimental a person cannot function.
Take care of yourself, hope you feel better.

hey there! it's really horrible having a migraine. It makes you feel worse when you move and you don't know what to do. What definitely triggers migraines are chocolates and caffeine and of course, you're right, stress. Migraines can be avoided most of the time though. When you feel different and starts to feel a little headache, take analgesics immediately before it gets worse because once it gets worse, any medication won't help. But of course, sleep and rest can do miracles.:)
