One way of distressing myself is going shopping. You see I am a compulsive buyer, sometimes I don't need the things I buy but still I buy them. I enjoy myself buying inexpensive things and keeping them until a birthday, anniversary or some occasion occurs and I will give them as a gitt. So that when Christmas comes, I already have a stack of gifts to give as presents.

maybe I am but I dont wanna admit that i am cause I really dont have plenty of money to buy anything I like when I go somewhere and see something nice. I also dont want to have a credit card cause I dont want to give in to temptations.

No, I don't consider myself a shopaholic, but I do like shopping from time to time. Your gift strategy sounds lovely and like a very good idea!

Hi, I am not shopaholic. I will only buy those things that I need and necesary only. Before I married, I shop alot...everytime when I went out, I will buy something for myself. Mostly I will aim for clothes or bags. But now after married, I seldom shop, and if I were to shop, the things will be my son's stuffs. I don't have the mood to shop too because I am not working anymore, being a full time housewife,it means no income for me and the mood for shopping will definitely GONE from my life.

I used to be a shopaholic when i was single. Every payday i will go out to buy new clothes. It means I shopped every 15 days. ^.^ clothes were my weakness. But now i already have a family of my own and i have to budget my salary and that of my husband, to be sure that we have enough money until the next payday. I now have a baby and the expenses are quite big, so whenever I go out to shop it will be for her and for my husband, or even for groceries only.
