I don't really think that is true in today's context. I'm sure many men have lusted after other women other than their partners. But most men don't take it further and it's all in their hear. I confess I wouldn't like it if I my husband told me he lusts for another woman. But if he keeps it to himself, I wouldn't know about it. hmmm...adultery...well...yes in a way...emotional adultery. When you are committed to a relationship, I guess it is adultery. But you feel it's adultery even if the man is not in a committed relationship...interesting. I guess I have to give that some thought.

I quoted the idea from the Bible, the words of Jesus. Mahatma Gandhi was really interested about it, Sermon on the Mount.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

Yes, this statement is True. It is considered Adultery in a sense of this word. You just need to make sure if you are Married, the thoughts go no further, and no one knows your thoughts. When you act on these instead of letting them go, you are Creating a worse Sin, and then it would definately be hard for you to be forgiven.

i do not condone this. that is why i think that one has to be sure that he or she really wants to get married before doing so. because after marriage, you have to be able to stick with your partner through thick and thin. even cheating when you are just committed to a boyfriend or girlfriend is bad. but ooh... exciting. haha.

maybe we should pluck out the eyes of everyone.. i have seen my boyfriend stare at a woman, i know his tastes, and i have observed him. if he sees this particular girl, he will really travel in his mind and maybe think of all these thoughts with her, but i dont find it offensive. maybe because he tells me about it. i sometimes make fun of him in his thoughts and we sometimes just have a good laugh at it
