Do the number of posts cause you to post or not post in a topic?

It really does not matter to me. If there is a topic and it looks interesting, I would tend to post in it. However, for some people, I think they might be intimidated by a large amount of posts. They might think that everything that needs to be said has already been said and might back away. So how about you? Does the number of posts in a topic have any impact on whether or not you post? Looking forward to reading your responses.

It doesn't really matter to me how many posts there are, I would still like to stay what I have to say. I mean there's a chance everything that was already said is incorrect and I could be the one to point that out.. haha. If anything the post number attracts me more to the topic because I want to see what's going on.

That is true. If the post number is high, than this must be a very good topic. Not true all of the time but many times it is. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

No, it does not matter in any way to me. If it is interesting and I have something to say, I will do it, no matter how many people already replied...

Yes, exactly, there are many interesting topics. If the posts are four or forty, that should really not be a barrier. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

The number of responses in a topic does not bother me at all. I tend to respond if I find the topic interesting enough or worth to respond to. There may be a duplicate of our idea if there is a large number of responses and we fail to read them all. Numbers do not always mean anything. It's the quality of a discussion that matters.

Very well said and I agree. There are times where there might be a lot of the posts, but not much said in those posts. There might be something new to add yet. You just never know. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

It all really depends on the discussion. So many discussions are basically a question and once that question has been answered if you have no more to add it seems pointless adding anything else and just repeating what another member has already said. But of course a good discussion will generate a lot of responses and responses on responses, I certainly enjoy adding my opinions and ideas to these.

Of course, even if the question has been answered, there might still be some insight to be added. There might be some personal experience that could give more information. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

The only thing I look at first is the question. If it's of interest to me, if my answer can help them or if I'm deeply affected by what they wrote I will read the responses. If what I say can add to the conversation I will do that.

Yeah, if I feel like I can add something, or if it interests me, that is a deciding factor. There are times where the question does not catch my interest. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

It really depends on the question for me. So its a yes and no answer, but if I would like to add something I would go ahead and post. I tend to not read all the discussion comments anyway, so if I said something someone already said...oops lol

Yeah, I barely read what others have posted until after I throw in my two cents. It is amusing that I was on the same wavelength as some people. I guess strange minds think alike. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

it doesn't matter to me, i post to any topic that catches my interest and it doesn't matter whether they already have a lot of responses or none at all. i think this goes to most of us.

I'm beginning to think you are right. I'm sure there are some out there that would disagree. Such is life. For the most part, topic length does not matter. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

It doesn't matter to me, as if the topic is interesting to me then I will also respond. The ones that have lots of responses though, seem to be the ones that are the most interesting, not in every instance, but in most instances. At least when I see a lot of responses, then I know that it has to be interesting enough to get as many responses as it does. I will respond to topics that have a lot of responses, and ones that don't have all that many. It just depends on the topic. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

It is good to have a variety for sure. Threads with many, threads with a few, and everything in the middle. As long as it holds my interest, everything is good. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I am like you mega. It really doesn't matter to me. If a topic is interesting and I think I could make a response, I will post my response. I don't care if my opinion will be similar with others since I never read other responses before posted my own response. I am sure, even if we have similar thought, the way we express it would result the different. Furthermore, if my response similar with others, it could make others opinion stronger. In other word, I agree with others opinion. This will help the owner of the discussion to make decision or conclusion to their discussion. Perhaps, this would be the resolution of their problem.

yes it would want me to post to that topic more cause when more people would posts then that makes the topic interesting since many have share there own opinion to that certain topic or discussion... It would also make you create more ideas and reply to other posts...

See, with me, if there is a topic that I really do not know much on, I'm likely to overlook it. After all, if I do not know it, by default, it does not interest me. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
