I am so mad right now. My car insurance is through Geico and I have my payment automatically deducted from my bank account every month. It is suppose to come out on the 16th of each month. Finding it easier to do this way you can imagine how I felt when I got an e mail from them stating I was being mailed a cancellation notice for non payment. Now when I went into my account I saw I am STILL enrolled in the recurring payment program! So how in the world am I being cancelled for non payment? I have to call them on Monday and get this figured out. I do have until the 30th to make my payment. have any of you gone through something like this? If you have what was the problem? I just think this is stupid! Why even enroll if they are going to do this?

First off let me say that I have never been fond of automatic withdrawl. Here is what you should do. Go to your bank (online if possible) and print out proof of the withdrawl. I used to have insurance with Geico but for reasons I will discuss on a new discussion I cancelled them. I now get my car insurance thru USAA. It is for veterans, active military, and any family member of either. I am really happy with them. Let me say again; I don't use automatic withdrawl.
