Is there any way to know your is your baby boy or a girl in the second month?

I am really curious is there any way to know do you have bay or a girl in the second month? I know that you can understand it in the fourth month but in the second? I know that in India the women want a boy and when they uderstand they would have a girl they kill her. But how will they know that. I know that you can make abortion until the end of the cesond month. Can someone tell me? I am really curious

In my home country it is possible to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl by having a gender scan at 16 to 18 weeks pregnancy. Some ladies find out at their 20 week scan. I don't think it is possible to find out the baby's gender until 16 weeks at the earliest. Some very experienced scan operators can tell at 12 weeks if the baby is a boy or a girl but both look similar at that early stage of pregnancy.
I don't agree with abortion. In my home country abortion is legal up until 24 weeks pregnancy. I think in traditional countries it is so sad that some female fetuses are aborted or baby girls killed at birth. Personally I always wanted a baby girl and she was born last year. I already have two sons.
Old wives tests of whether it is a boy or girl are not all that reliable. It is best to enjoy having a baby of either gender.

I want girl too. Two boys! You have to be really really patient! I watched this movie about women in India. It'really terrible! They risk their life because of their families. Somethimes they gave birth to their girls but after that their husbands or someone of the family kill them because it's shame for them. They have to have son no matter what!

Hi,
As from my experience, it is not possible to know
the baby gender when your pregnancy only reached second month.Only when
your pregnancy has reached 5th month,then your gynae may be able
to scan the baby gender provided your baby do open up his/her leg
widely ,then only the gynae able to confirm the gender.
For me, either boy or girl is the same. They are still my precious child and
And I have the same responsibility to bring them up.

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my first child. I had a ultrasound @ 16 weeks and still don't know what I am having. Even though it is possible to tell as early as 16 weeks the baby is still so small and it depends on the baby's position. My doctor said that at week 20 I should be able to find out for sure. :) Hoping for a boy bu my fiance wants a girl.
