I want to have a credit card. I have seen a lot of stores are offering installments at 0% interest and that is really cool. I searched for different ways to apply for one but I just realized that I am not eligible since my income is lower than they require. I also work at home so I dont have a formal payslip to show them but just a claim receipt from a money claim center. I dont have a annual income report as I dont pay tax since I do this online. Not that I dont care but have tried many times to apply as self employed but our country isnt that familiar with the nature of my job and they dont know how to categorize me. I am so busy to go back and forth to get te answer so as of now, my application is still pending. Anyways, going back.. I wish there are other banks there that would make credit card application not as hard as I find it.

I suppose the only way is to see if there is a way to pay on a thirty sixty ninety day plan. What that means is to go to a store where there is no interest if paid within a specific time. Then start first with the thirty day plan, and when that is all paid up, buy something (after you have saved enough money) on the sixty day plan, and so on. That will establish a credit report. Also is there secured credit cards in your country? What that is is it will only give you credit for what is in your bank account. It does cost a bit to get one and there is an annual charge, but it would help to say that you are a good risk = that is, if you ask for the credit card allowance that is less that what you have in the bank, and always pay off the balance. Then when you get one, just use it for an extra id. unless you have an extra source of income.

That is how I got started. Now I live in Canada, and things may be different over there, but with stuff like furniture and appliances, the store owner may offer a plan. It might be different, for instance it might be 25 days, 55 days. etc/ The point is to get the bank to consider you a good risk even if you do not make enough money for the normal credit card.
