Book Review: Private Scars

Private Scars, by author Brenda Youngerman is an excellent stand-alone novel, although it is followed by a second in the series, entitled Public Lies. Private Scars deals with family abuse and all that it entails for the victim, as well as loved ones.

Thanks for the rave review Ruthi.
I tried to bring out the victim's point of view in this novel and have someone be able to pick up the book and perhaps see that if they were in a similar situation that they were not alone. Hopefully they would get help if they needed it.
