I guess that will happen to almost everyone here. If you have a landline, majority of you might receive those annoying phone calls from those telemarketers who trying to sell you some stuff you don't actually need. They want to stay conversation with you and convince you on everything on every tactics. Sometimes, I pretend to be an underage teenager, and telling them I am not old enough to make decision. Or I would tell them I am not me, and me is not at home at the moment. Sometimes, I even hung up the phone without answering it. So, how would you answer them?

Since these telemarkerters call during meal time I always tell them I am eating dinner, but if you give me your home phone number and the time you eat dinner I will be more than happy to call you at home and interrupt your meal. Since my husband and I only have Magicjack for our phone these calls have stopped for now.

Hi, I have answered the phone saying I am not interested and please take me off of your calling list. I try to be polite because its just their job and they are trying to make a living doing so. I know that they can be annoying but coming from someone who tried being a telemarketer for a day, it was actually a really hard job. I got hung up on every single call. Carmen

When I had a landline, I got way to many telemarketer calls. It got really annoying, and the thing if it was, they were just relentless, and wouldn't stop, until I just refused to answer the phone anymore, and then they seemed to stop. After that, I just decided that I didn't need a landline and a cell phone, so I just got rid of the landline, and now I don't get any telemarketer calls. Now, I do get some wrong numbers once in awhile, but for the most part my cell phone is very quite, and I am so glad about that too. I know they are just doing their job, but to keep calling is just a bit much. Take care, and have a very good day.

I tend to answer the phone for them in a different way each time.. Sometimes I pretend I can't hear them, I just keep saying what? Then eventually I hang up the phone. When they ask to speak to an adult or anyone over 18 in the house I say nobody in the house is an adult. My favorite way to answer though has to be by just picking up the phone and hanging it up without saying hello. I don't want to talk to them, so why bothering picking up.
